If you are where you can run md5 on the ownloaded ISO, then do it and compare the number it gives with the one for that file in the checksum file. If they are the same the ISO download should be good. Then, burn the ISO directly as is on to a CD.

ISO images are about 600 MB each. More than one is generally needed for a Solaris install. So yes, Sun *can* do this, but to do it right they need to do some capacity planning so they will actually have the bandwidth required if zillions of people start trying to download gigabytes of stuff.

troubles copying/burning 10.3 ISO image
I've been trying to download the new beta3 iso files this afternoon and I keep getting an error part way through stating that there is not enough space to save /tmp/suchnsuch.exe. I click ok and it stops my iso download. What is/why is there an exe file being downloaded to /tmp? I am telling it Why not?
